Linear Case Units
LC
This is a linear case mainly for large-diameter ball bushings. The case itself is cast aluminum. Positioning and precision enhancements are facilitated with one of the side aspects serving as datum face. A grease nipple is also included as standard to aid lubrication. (All types have seals at both ends.)
LC-C
This is a compact unit able to be mounted from above or below, making it easy to incorporate into the intended system. Positioning and precision enhancements are facilitated with one of the side aspects serving as datum face. The extruded aluminum case has undergone sufficient post-extrusion heat treatment to create a compact, lightweight and precision item. (All types have seals at both ends.)
LC-A
This is a standard-length unit able to be mounted from above or below, making it easy to incorporate into the intended system. Positioning and precision enhancements are facilitated with one of the side aspects serving as datum face. The extruded aluminum case has undergone sufficient post-extrusion heat treatment to create a compact, lightweight and precision item. (All types have seals at both ends.)
LC-AOP
This unit houses an open ball bushing and is configured for use when the shaft is held in place by a support rail. The unit is able to be mounted from above or below, making it easy to incorporate into the intended system. Precision enhancements are facilitated with one of the side aspects serving as datum face. The extruded aluminum case has undergone sufficient post-extrusion heat treatment to create a compact, lightweight and precision item. (All types have seals at both ends.)
LC-L
This is a long unit able to be mounted from above or below, making it easy to incorporate into the intended system. Positioning and precision enhancements are facilitated with one of the side aspects serving as datum face. The extruded aluminum case has undergone sufficient post-extrusion heat treatment to create a compact, lightweight and precision item. Lubrication and maintenance is made easier with a tapped hole (M6 x 0.75) for affixing a grease nipple. (All types have seals at both ends.)
LCE-A
The most widespread metric series in Europe and US regions.
SLS
An SB type (self-aligning) ball bushing embedded inside aluminum housing with slit. Allows radial space and preload adjustments. The unit has two datum faces and holes styled for mounting in one of two directions. The aluminum case is lightweight and withstands heavy loads. All types come with replaceable seals (attached separately) for both ends.
SLS-OP
A self-aligning open ball bushing embedded inside open aluminum housing with slit. Allows radial space and preload adjustments. Withstands heavy loads from directly above. The unit has two datum faces and holes styled for mounting in one of two directions. All types come with replaceable seals (attached separately) for both ends.
SLS-OPY
A self-aligning open ball bushing embedded inside open aluminum housing with slit. Allows radial space and preload adjustments. The unit has two datum faces and holes styled for mounting in one of two directions. All types come with replaceable seals (attached separately) for both ends.
CLS
A compact ball bushing embedded inside an aluminum case with slit, allowing space adjustments. The unit is styled for mounting in one of two directions.
DLS
A segmental ball bushing embedded inside plastic housing with slit. This format makes for a lightweight unit allowing radial space adjustments. (All types have seals at both ends.)
Flanged Linear Case Units
LCF-A
This unit houses two ball bushings with seals inside an aluminum case with a square mounting flange. Either of the two flange surfaces can be employed as the mounting surface. The aluminum housing case is both lightweight and suitable for ensuring corrosion resistance when used in conjunction with stainless steel ball bushings. (All types have seals at both ends.)
LCFD-A
This unit houses two ball bushings with seals inside an aluminum case with a circular mounting flange. Either of the two flange surfaces can be employed as the mounting surface. The aluminum housing case is both lightweight and suitable for ensuring corrosion resistance when used in conjunction with stainless steel ball bushings. (All types have seals at both ends.)
LCF-B
This unit houses two compact ball bushings inside a ductile iron (FCD45) case. A high load capacity is maintained despite the compact size. Dust-tight seals designed specially for each type are embedded at both ends and electroless nickel surface plating has been applied. A hole (M6 x 0.75) for affixing a grease nipple enables lubrication.
LCF-BL
This unit houses two compact ball bushings inside a ductile iron (FCD45) case. A high load capacity is maintained despite the compact size. Allowable moment load is higher than for LCF-B units due to its longer overall length. Dust-tight seals designed specially for each type are embedded at both ends and electroless nickel surface plating has been applied. A hole (M6 x 0.75) for affixing a grease nipple enables lubrication.
LCF-B-K
This unit houses two compact ball bushings inside a ductile iron (FCD45) case. A high load capacity is maintained despite the compact size. Dust-tight seals designed specially for each type are embedded at both ends and electroless nickel surface plating has been applied, achieving superior protection against rust under normal conditions. A hole (M6 x 0.75) for affixing a grease nipple enables lubrication. All types have metal seals contained in end caps. End caps have been hardened as they are employed to stop axial motion.
LCF-BL-K
This unit houses two compact ball bushings inside a ductile iron (FCD45) case. A high load capacity is maintained despite the compact size. Allowable moment load is higher than for LCF-B units due to its longer overall length.
LCF-C
This unit houses two standard-length ball bushings inside a ductile iron (FCD45) case. The two bushings are separated by an intermediate collar that maintains clearance precision when a moment load is applied. The housing case has also been strengthened and has undergone electroless nickel plating. The unit’s design allows easy maintenance, including application of grease. Seal-containing end caps have been hardened as they are employed to stop axial motion.
Pillow Unit
PNCD
An aligning mechanism is realized through special configuration of the inner surface of the casing, thereby achieving a balance of both low cost and high functionality. All types have seals at both ends.
